CALIFORNIA E-BIKE INCENTIVE PROGRAM
The California E-Bike Incentive Project offers income-eligible Californians up to $2000 in vouchers to reduce the cost of purchasing a new electric bicycle.
Important Details
Who is Eligible?
Residents of California that are 18 years or older with a qualifying household income (see chart below) and that completes an online application here and receives approval.
How can I apply?
The next application period for the program will be announced soon. Once live, you'll be able to apply here.
What's next?
Approved applicants will receive the following:
- A notification confirming their approval, the incentive amount, and the voucher’s expiration date.
- A unique incentive voucher code.
Vouchers must be used in person at Bike Shop LA (or other approved retailers) within 45 days of the approval date. If an e-bike is unavailable during this period, a one-time 45-day extension can be requested.
